Capcom Named Fastest Growing Mobile Game Publisher

Capcom Interactive, Inc. has been named the fastest growing mobile game publisher in 2006 according to Telephia's rankings of publishers. They've moved from the 62nd position in Q1, 2006 to 9th for Q4, 2006. Additionally, Capcom Interactive's revenue grew by a staggering 340% in the past six months.

"When we entered the mobile game publishing business in November of 2005 we were committed to making Capcom Interactive a major player in this space,” said Midori Yuasa, president, Capcom Interactive, Inc. "Now after little more than a year, we've outperformed many veteran mobile publishers and established ourselves as one of the top ten companies in mobile gaming. With our diverse slate of Capcom branded intellectual property and mass market casual brands, I have every expectation that 2007 will see Capcom Interactive breaking into the top five.”

Critical to Capcom Interactive's impressive performance was the successful launch of several mobile titles based on established Capcom brands including Mega Man, Ghost n' Goblins and Resident Evil: The Missions. Additionally, the company's acquisition of publisher/developer Cosmic Infinity in June, 2006 provided the foundation of Capcom Interactive's internal development studio as well as access to several mass market consumer licenses including ESPN Poker Club and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
