Congrats to Treemo

Treemo, a Seattle-based mobile social network, announced today that it has been added to the T-Mobile deck, in addition to AT&T and Cricket Mobile. Treemo said the social network, which is most commonly used by teens to upload and comment on photos, is now also available as a Web app on the iPhone and has been redesigned.

New features allow users to personalize their mobile pages by picking their own colors, images and content. Also each user can have a unique text message address. For example, if a person text messages a user’s profile name, “like JaneDoe” to 873366 (or Treemo), it will go right to the user’s profile page.

I first met Treemo's CEO, Brent Brookler, about 6 years ago when he was one of the co-founders of Mobliss. He is a mobile content veteran and a great entrepreneur and it is exciting to see them continue to get traction with the US carriers.
