In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure is allowing people to donate by sending a text message.
People who text “Komen” to 90999 will automatically donate $5 with standard texting rates applying. The donation will show up on your monthly cell phone bill.
This is a cool idea and an easy way to donate to a great cause. I can't tell from their website which carriers are supported here in the US but I'll try to find out. If you have more info, please pass it along.
